John Harrison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Harrison, who passed away on the 25th September at the age of 74.

John was a beloved husband to Christine and a much-loved father to Joanne & Paul, grandpa to Grace & Lucy, father-in-law to Andrew & Joanne, brother, uncle and friend to many.  John will be dearly missed by all those lucky enough to have had him in their lives.

John’s warm presence, humour and love touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on his family and friends. A true gentleman, John was selfless in his care of others. John dearly loved his family. His love and memory will endure in our hearts forever.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at Widnes crematorium on Monday 21st October 10am.

The family kindly request donations in lieu of flowers for the benefit of MacMillan Cancer Support and Pancreatic Cancer UK, charities that were close John’s heart. Any donations will be gratefully received.

A reception to celebrate John’s life will be held immediately after the funeral at the Parklands Sports Club Widnes WA8 4NQ. Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome.
